• Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and treat health conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests like X-rays and blood work.
• Prescribe medications and develop or update patient treatment plans.

• Manage the daily care of patients on the ward and lead the care team, under the supervision of attending physicians.
