RESIDENT PHYSICIAN

About the roleThe Resident on Duty (ROD) provides 24-hour medical coverage in the assigned area—Ward, ER, or Outpatient/OCC—and is responsible for patient assessment, initial management, monitoring, and coordination of care with the healthcare team.

What you'll be doing

• Assess, diagnose, and provide initial management for patients with emergency, urgent, and routine medical concerns, as applicable.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs through regular rounds, monitoring of in-patients, and timely response to changes in condition or emergencies.
• Coordinate patient care with consultants and healthcare teams, including referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Maintain safe and continuous patient care through accurate documentation and endorsements, while adhering to hospital policies, patient safety standards, clinical protocols, and professional standards.
• Assist in the care and management of YAKAP and MARINA patients, as applicable.

What we're looking for

• Licensed Physician in the Philippines

• Valid BLS and ACLS Certification

• PHIC-accredited physician or eligible for PHIC accreditation

• Willing to render 24-hour duty

• Good clinical judgment, communication, patient-centered care skills, and teamwork skill
