We are seeking experienced Resident Quantity Surveyors (RQS) for site-based position in Lantau Island.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the site office project team to perform comprehensive consultancy Quantity Surveying duties, including valuation of variations, interim payment valuations, cost estimating, reviewing contractors’ quotations and claims, negotiation and settlement of final accounts, etc.
• Liaise effectively with contractors and other project stakeholders
• Attend and contribute to project meetings with clients and stakeholders
• Foster and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships with the Client, site team, and relevant parties
• Report to the Project Team Leader at the site office and carry out duties with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• At least 10 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, including at least 5 years' experience in large scale construction projects
• HKIS / RICS qualified is required
• Excellent in budget preparation and cost control
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Able to work independently in handling and settling charge orders and claims
• Work in Lantau Island
