Resident Services Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Services Coordinator to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. This vital role involves coordinating social services, providing support to diverse populations—including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and culturally diverse communities—and ensuring residents have access to essential resources. Duties

• Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing their needs with professionalism and empathy through effective client communication
• Coordinate social services such as behavioral health support, addiction counseling, child welfare, and workforce development programs tailored to individual needs
• Conduct crisis intervention and crisis management to assist residents during emergencies or challenging situations
• Identify and connect residents with community resources including Medicaid, Medicare, Section 8 housing assistance, and other social services
• Implement motivational interviewing techniques to empower residents toward positive behavioral changes and self-sufficiency
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or volunteers involved in resident support activities, ensuring quality service delivery
• Maintain accurate documentation through writing detailed case management reports, service plans, and progress notes while adhering to confidentiality standards
• Facilitate workshops or group sessions on topics such as aging in place for seniors, working with culturally diverse communities, or disability awareness
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary and ensure safety protocols are followed during all interactions

Experience

• Proven experience working with social services, behavioral health, or case management in community settings
• Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, addiction counseling, or working with individuals with disabilities
• Experience working with geriatric patients, seniors, or child welfare populations is highly desirable
• Bilingual abilities are preferred to effectively serve diverse communities
• Demonstrated skills in client communication, motivational interviewing, and resource identification within social services networks
• Supervisory experience overseeing staff or volunteers is a plus
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Section 8 housing programs, and workforce development initiatives is beneficial
• Excellent writing skills for documentation and report writing are essential

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
