Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and commercial facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Handle specialized cleaning tasks such as window cleaning, floor care, pressure washing, and sanitation procedures to ensure high standards of hygiene.
• Operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, floor buffers, and chemical sprayers.
• Manage laundry services for linens or uniforms when required, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Follow strict infection control protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain safety standards during all cleaning activities.
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies or equipment as needed while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning tasks performed, chemicals used, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is highly preferred; experience with residential cleaning is also valuable.
• Familiarity with window cleaning techniques and pressure washing methods is advantageous.
• Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and proper use of cleaning agents to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Experience in floor care including polishing, buffing, or stripping floors will be beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions for sanitation protocols and infection control measures.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
