Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and outdoor spaces as needed
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure all surfaces, fixtures, and appliances are hygienic and well-maintained
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, windows, and furniture effectively
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
• Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain organization of cleaning supplies and equipment for optimal efficiency
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service
• Follow safety protocols related to cleaning products and equipment use
• Ensure timely completion of all assigned cleaning tasks while maintaining high standards of quality

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
• Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices
• Familiarity with various cleaning detergents, tools, and equipment used in residential housekeeping
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks with care
• Customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients and address their concerns professionally
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas of residential properties
• Attention to detail in dusting, surface cleaning, and overall housekeeping management
• Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures for different types of flooring and outdoor surfaces
