Residential Construction Site Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an organized, hands-on Residential Construction Site Supervisor to coordinate daily work on residential construction projects. This role oversees site activities from planning through completion, helping ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to established quality standards. The supervisor works closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and homeowners to keep projects moving and resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and site access.
• Review project plans, blueprints, and schematics to communicate scope, sequencing, and installation requirements.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, labor, materials, and project costs; identify delays or budget concerns and escalate them as needed.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control by checking work for accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with project specifications.
• Promote safe work practices, maintain an orderly jobsite, and address hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Track progress, document site conditions, and maintain clear records of inspections, changes, issues, and completed work.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve field questions and support timely decisions.
• Use construction management software and digital plan-review tools to manage schedules, documents, updates, and project communication.
• Support project planning, construction estimating, and budget tracking as needed.

Skills

• Construction experience, preferably on residential projects, with a practical understanding of building methods and jobsite workflows.
• Supervising experience coordinating crews, subcontractors, or multiple trades.
• Strong blueprint reading and schematics interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of quality control, construction sequencing, safety practices, and applicable building requirements.
• Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and construction estimating.
• Familiarity with construction management software.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and maintain accurate project documentation.

Pay: $100,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
