Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join a well-regarded and award-winning law firm based in Gosforth, Tyne & Wear. This is a permanent, full-time job with flexibility over start and finish times, working 35 hours per week. Part-time at 4 days per week may be considered for the right individual. This is ideally an office-based position, although there may be some flexibility for hybrid working. The incoming Residential Conveyancing Solicitor will benefit from a competitive salary of up to £48,000 DOE, firm-wide bonus, generous holiday allowance, pension, and a range of well-being benefits.

Role Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a high-performing and supportive conveyancing team. The incoming Residential Conveyancing Solicitor will be part of a small team and will take the lead on progressing files while also acting as a point of technical guidance and support.

• Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Reporting on title, raising enquiries and drafting reports for clients
• Delivering high-quality, user-friendly legal advice to private and lender clients
• Supporting junior team members with technical queries and workflow
• Demonstrating commitment to excellent client service throughout each transaction
• Working closely with the wider team and colleagues across other departments

Person Specification

The successful Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer will be someone with strong technical skills, the ability to manage a busy caseload independently and a collaborative approach to team working. You will be:

• A Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with 2+ years’ experience in residential property
• A confident communicator who can liaise effectively with clients, agents, and team members
• Experienced in managing residential sale and purchase transactions from instruction to completion
• Proactive and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable with business development activity including networking and relationship building
• Commitment to personal and professional development
