Residential Electrical Service Technician - 4 Day Week!

Four day week. Every week. Not a trial, not “when it suits the business”.

4 Days, 7am starts, live life with three days off. That’s how we run it.

Uziel Air & Electrical is a Brisbane electrical and air conditioning business. We’re not big and we’re not trying to be — small team, properly organised, local work across Greater Brisbane. Two Logan Business Distinction Awards in 2024 and finalist for 2025 and 2026, and preferred contractor status with real estate and insurance clients that keeps the work steady and varied.

What you get

• $55–$65/hr depending on experience
• A real four day week: 10, 10, 10 and 8 hour days, 7am starts
• Take-home vehicle and fuel card
• iPad and uniforms supplied
• We pay for your ARCtick, open cabling, EWP — whatever ticket makes you grow!
• No sales targets and commission chasing. You don’t need to be a salesman here. Some outfits will pay you a cut to talk people into things they didn’t ask for — we’d rather you diagnosed it honestly, told the customer the truth and did the job properly.
• No on-call roster. The office runs 8 to 5 and so do we. Your evenings are yours.
• Jobs arrive booked and noted in Tradify on your iPad. You’re not quoting from the roadside or doing paperwork at 6pm.
• Overtime paid when it’s worked, never assumed

The work

AC and Residential service work across Greater Brisbane. Fault finding, switchboard upgrades, power and lighting, smoke alarms, insurance works, solar damage reports and system repairs, and split system and ducted air conditioning — service, cleans and installs.

Every job is different. If you’re sick of pulling cable on the same site for six months, this is the other thing.

What we need

• QLD electrical licence and a current driver’s licence
• Solid residential service experience
• You can talk to a homeowner or a property manager like a human — not sell to them, just explain what’s wrong and what it takes to fix it
• You test your work before you leave site, and you write the job up on the iPad before you drive away
• ARCtick is a bonus, not a requirement — we’ll pay to get you there

That second-last point is the one we actually care about. We run on good notes and photos, and the tradespeople who do it properly make everyone’s week easier.
