Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining HVAC systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure our clients enjoy comfortable, efficient indoor environments while adhering to safety standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment in residential properties.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute installations.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues using electrical diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Utilize hand tools, electrical meters such as ohmmeters, and specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning to verify proper operation following installation or repair.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance tips, and addressing client questions professionally.

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation or related mechanical systems repair.
• Service technician experience in HVAC or refrigeration is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems, building automation systems, and plumbing.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) components including boilers and appliances.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools such as electrical meters and ohmmeters.
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems and mechanical systems repair skills.
• Familiarity with electrical diagnostics and electrical systems related to HVAC equipment.
• Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications are a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van or service vehicle safely.

Pay: $28.51 - $34.33 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
