  • Complete work orders accurately, including test results, equipment changes, materials used, photographs, and customer notes.
  • Maintain assigned tools, test equipment, vehicle, replacement equipment, and inventory.
  • Follow all company safety requirements, operating procedures, and customer privacy policies.
  • Communicate delays, unresolved problems, safety concerns, and recurring service issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Participate in training and maintain current knowledge of Kit Carson Internet equipment, services, and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Basic understanding of home networking, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, routers, and internet-connected devices.
  • Ability to use smartphones, tablets, computers, work-order systems, and basic network-testing tools.
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to maintain accurate service records.

  • Experience installing or troubleshooting residential internet and Wi-Fi equipment.
  • Experience with Ethernet cable termination and testing.
  • Familiarity with fiber-to-the-home systems and optical network terminals.
