Residential Maintenance Technician

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled, reliable Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team at a 105-unit residential community in Turlock. This is a full-time position.

You’ll handle everything from service requests and unit turns to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs — working independently while staying in close communication with management. If you have solid apartment maintenance experience and a track record of dependability, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally
• Prepare vacant units for move-in — turns, patching, painting, and repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine property inspections
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Maintain clean, safe common areas and shared spaces
• Repair doors, locks, cabinets, fixtures, and hardware
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized or larger-scope work
• Track and maintain inventory of supplies and materials
• Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls
• Pick up materials and parts as needed to keep work moving

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone with experience and a verifiable work history.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on apartment or residential maintenance experience
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose/repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems independently
• Experience completing unit turns — patching, painting, repairs, and make-ready work
• Reliable and punctual — communicate proactively
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
• Able to manage multiple work orders and prioritize effectively
• Professional and respectful in all interactions with residents and team members
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Employment contingent upon successful background check and employment verification
