RESIDENTIAL PROJECT ASSOCIATE

My business, The TESH Project,LLC, is growing, and I'm looking for someone to work alongside me as I expand.

I serve as an independent private client representative for homeowners undertaking renovations and custom home construction. I help clients define their vision, develop the scope of work, assemble the right team, and navigate the countless decisions and details involved in a project—from initial planning through completion. I represent the homeowner's interests, helping protect their time, investment, and vision.

It's an unusual role in the design and construction industry, but an important one—and one I'd love to teach to someone interested in learning it.

The Opportunity Initially, I'm looking for part-time help managing my growing workload, with the opportunity to learn the business and take on increasing responsibility. You'll work directly with me and my clients on everything from developing project scopes and furniture plans to cabinet drawings, material selections, construction details, and project coordination.

Who I'm Looking For Beyond an interest in design, architecture, and construction, I'm looking for someone who:

• Thinks visually and creatively. Can you understand scale, proportion, and spatial relationships? Can you imagine different possibilities for a space?
• Listens well. Can you understand what a client really wants, even when they struggle to articulate it?
• Is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented. Can you turn a seemingly overwhelming project into a clear, manageable plan and document every important decision?
• Is curious and resourceful. You don't need to know every answer, but you need to enjoy finding them.
• Is patient and composed. Residential projects can be stressful. Our job is to bring clarity and calm, not add to the confusion.
• Has strong technical skills. Proficiency in CAD and 3D rendering software is essential. You should be comfortable creating accurate drawings and visualizations that help clients understand spaces, explore options, and communicate design intent to the project team.

The Details

• Part-time to start
• $25–$45/hour, depending on skills and experience
• Hybrid arrangement: some remote work and some time working together in my home office in San Antonio (78258)
