Resort Housekeeper

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Cabin Housekeeper to help prepare our cabins and resort spaces for arriving guests. This is a part-time position, typically 15–20 hours per week with some flexibility on days and hours worked.

The hours of this position run through May, with the option to stay on through the summer. The summer position involves less weekday hours and requires availability on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest cabins for arrival, ensuring bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces are exceptionally clean, organized, and guest ready
• Clean and maintain all areas of the cabins, including floors, windows, bathrooms, kitchens, furniture, and appliances
• Make beds and handle laundry, including washing and organizing blankets/linens, bathmats, shower curtains, kitchen towels, and other linens
• Restock and organize kitchens and guest supplies
• Inspect cabins carefully between guests, checking drawers, closets, under beds and furniture for forgotten items, damage, missing supplies, or anything needing attention
• Prepare and maintain resort amenities and common spaces
• Clean and maintain cabins occupied by long-term college renters, deep cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces in cabins and notifying owners of any damage or necessary repairs
• Manage laundry between cleans, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing blankets, towels, and other resort linens so clean supplies are ready for the next cabin turnover
• Perform scheduled deep-cleaning and seasonal maintenance of cabins during unoccupied periods, including moving furniture and beds to clean underneath and behind, shampooing carpets, cleaning bathroom vents and drains, and tackling detailed areas that aren’t addressed during routine guest turnovers

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, reaching, stairs, and moving furniture (must be able to lift 50 pounds)
• Reliable, thorough, and able to follow detailed cleaning procedures
• Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently
• Must be able to pass a mandatory criminal background check (required by Minnesota law for property access)

Benefits:

• Flexible Hours - Ideally available most Sundays 11 am - 4 pm and a few weekdays between 9-3. Remaining hours can typically be scheduled around your availability.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
