Resort Manager

The Mangrove Place Siquijor is looking for a Resort Manager who embodies a strong leadership with excellent people-management skills. The Resort Manager is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the resort, ensuring excellent guest service, efficient operations, employee performance, financial control, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the daily operations of the resort and ensure smooth coordination among all departments.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.
• Handle and resolve guest concerns, complaints, and operational issues.
• Supervise department heads and employees, including staffing, scheduling, performance, and discipline.
• Monitor resort revenues, expenses, budgets, inventory, and cost control.
• Assist in developing strategies to increase occupancy, sales, and overall resort profitability.
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing to promote rooms, events, packages, and other resort services.
• Ensure proper handling and accountability of company property, cash, supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, permits, licenses, and applicable laws.
• Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare operational and management reports and recommend improvements to resort operations.
• Lead by example and promote teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• At least 2–5 years of experience in hotel, resort, or hospitality operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of resort operations, budgeting, cost control, and personnel management.
• Ability to work under pressure and during weekends, holidays, peak seasons, and special events.
• Willing to be based in Siquijor.
