JOB VACANCY – RESORT MANAGER

Skyes Glamping Resort, Munnar

Location: Munnar, Kerala
Position: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

1. Resort Operations

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the resort.
• Oversee check-ins, check-outs, room allocation and housekeeping.
• Ensure rooms, property, facilities and surroundings are clean and well-maintained.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate food service, campfire, BBQ, trekking and other guest activities.

2. Guest Relations & Reservations

• Handle guest calls, enquiries and booking confirmations.
• Coordinate with the reservations team regarding room availability and rates.
• Welcome guests and ensure a comfortable stay.
• Collect payments, issue bills and maintain guest records.

3. Staff Management

• Supervise housekeeping, kitchen, service and other resort staff.
• Assign daily duties and monitor staff attendance and punctuality.
• Prepare duty schedules and ensure proper staff coordination.
• Maintain discipline, professional behaviour and service standards.
• Report staff issues and operational requirements to management.

4. Accounts & Reporting

• Maintain daily income and expense records.
• Record guest payments, cash receipts, refunds and supplier payments.
• Maintain bills, vouchers and petty cash records.
• Prepare daily occupancy, booking and revenue reports.
• Track stock, purchases and operating expenses.
• Coordinate with the accounts team and submit regular financial reports to management.

5. Property Maintenance & Security

• Monitor the condition of rooms, cabins, pool and other facilities.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor inventory, linen, kitchen supplies and other resort assets.
• Ensure guest safety and compliance with resort rules.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel or resort operations preferred.
• Good communication and guest-handling skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and solve operational problems.
• Honest, responsible, organised and willing to take ownership.
• Willingness to work at the resort in Munnar.
