Resource Solutions - Project Consultant

For our client, we are seeking a Resource Solutions - Project Consultant to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will support clients in a hands-on accounting advisory capacity, stepping into complex environments where financial operations need stabilization, clarity, and strong execution. The consultant will help lead critical accounting activities, partner with leadership through transitions, and deliver practical solutions across reporting, controls, and special projects. This is an opportunity to work across diverse industries, manage varied client needs, and contribute to high-impact financial outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Interim Controller, overseeing financial operations
• Manage accounting functions, transactions, and month-end closings
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Implement and monitor internal controls for regulatory compliance
• Lead special projects such as system transitions and audit preparations

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields
• Experience in complex, multi-entity corporations
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Strong self-motivation and initiative in ambiguous situations
• Proficiency in accounting applications such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and data analysis tools
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
• Ability to pass thorough background checks, including criminal, credit, education, certification, and references
