County and currently enrolls approximately 750 students between our onsite and virtual academy.

Join a large special education team that is made up of: a wide range of special educators; on -site

coordinator; school psychologist; school social worker; due process secretary; paraprofessionals and

all related service providers.

Applicants will have knowledge and experience in the following areas:

• specialized instruction in reading, written expression and mathematics
• continuous progress monitoring
• specialized instruction in some or all of the following: social skills, executive functioning skills,

functional skills

• IEP writing and conducting teacher components of special education evaluations
• use of instructional technology
• creating schedules and managing paraprofessionals
• excellent communication skills for collaboration with general education teachers, special education

team members, and for providing information to parents
