Position: Resource Store Associate

Classification: Full-time

Reports to: Donated Goods Manager

Job Summary

The Resource Store Associate is responsible for assisting clients during checkout, accurately recording points using the client database. This position ensures a positive client experience through courteous service and attention to detail while upholding store policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fair, and professional service to all clients in a fast-paced retail
• environment.
• Process client “sales” by entering points and recording transactions in the client
• database.
• Verify client account status and eligibility for items by reviewing their profile in the system.
• Resolve basic client concerns and questions, seeking assistance from the supervisor when needed.
• Follow established checkout procedures and report any issues or system changes required.
• Ensure the checkout and surrounding area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Support overall team efforts by assisting with store needs and completing related tasks as
• assigned.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and assist where needed to ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of retail, cashier, or customer service experience required.
• Friendly and positive attitude with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Comfortable using computers and databases.
• Flexible and willing to adjust schedule or tasks to meet business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
