About Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. Scope of work

Under the supervision of their assigned preceptor and/or the license of their Supervisor, the Respiratory Therapy graduate: implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists patients of all ages with acute and chronic illness in returning to a productive life style.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
• LIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan within 90 days required
• CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care within 90 days required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
