Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem

Role: Per diem Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).

Responsibilities: Assess patient respiratory needs, develop and implement treatment plans, perform therapeutic modalities, manage mechanical ventilators, provide patient and family education, assist with airway management and invasive procedures, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Support intra-hospital patient transport and collaborate with medical teams.

Qualifications & Skills: Respiratory Therapist experience, graduate from specialty training program, proficiency with advanced equipment, strong communication skills, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Duties: Conduct thorough patient assessments, establish care plans, perform treatments like oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, collect arterial blood gases, assist with bronchoscopy and invasive line placement, and maintain patient confidentiality.
