Role Overview: The Respiratory Therapist Float provides patient assessment, care planning, and execution of therapeutic modalities such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and airway management.

Key Responsibilities: Includes managing mechanical ventilators, assisting with intra-hospital transport, performing airway procedures, monitoring with non-invasive tools, and supporting discharge planning. They also collect arterial blood gases, maintain patient confidentiality, and serve as a Shift Coordinator and preceptor.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires graduate training, 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to float between multiple hospital locations. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and adherence to safety standards are essential.
