Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide safe and effective respiratory care in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable caring for patients across multiple age groups and working in areas including critical care, emergency, neonatal, pediatric, and geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care according to physician orders and department policies.
• Assess patients and provide appropriate respiratory treatments and interventions.
• Initiate, maintain, and monitor mechanical ventilation.
• Perform airway management, suctioning, bag/mask ventilation, and assist with intubation.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and monitor respiratory status.
• Administer respiratory medications and therapies as ordered.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment.
• Accurately document patient care, treatments, and charges.
• Provide and receive accurate patient reports.
• Participate in patient rounds, staff meetings, training, and in-services.
• Provide age-appropriate care for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Follow infection control, safety, PPE, and patient confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate of a COARC-approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Current CRT credential through the NBRC.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience.
• BLS certification required (within 90 days of hire).
• NRP certification required (within 6 months of hire).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pulmonary diagnostics experience preferred.
• Cardiac diagnostics experience such as EKG, Holter/Event Monitoring, and cardiac stress testing preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must successfully complete background check, drug screening, and employee health requirements.

Pay: $2,550.00 - $2,700.00 per week
