Location: Crystal Palace Football Club, Selhurst Park
Pay Rate: £16.76 per hour + holiday pay (£19.05ph)
About the Role: Gryphon Safety and Security are looking for a reliable, professional and proactive Response Supervisor to join our team at Crystal Palace Football Club.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional who can lead by example, respond effectively to incidents and support the safe and efficient running of matchday operations.The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting frontline security staff, responding to incidents, communicating with Control and management, and ensuring that all duties are carried out in accordance with site procedures and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support security personnel across designated areas of the stadium.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies and operational requests.
• Maintain effective communication with Control, management and frontline staff.
• Monitor crowd movements, spectator behaviour and potential safety or security risks.
• Attend incidents, assess situations and take appropriate action in line with site procedures.
• Escalate serious incidents and provide clear, accurate incident reports.
• Search and Enhanced Searching of customers.
• Ensure staff maintain professional standards, remain vigilant and follow instructions.
• Assist with crowd management, access control and the safe movement of spectators.
• Identify hazards and take appropriate steps to protect staff, spectators and members of the public.
• Support the smooth running of matchday operations while delivering excellent customer service.

Essential Requirements

• A valid SIA licence
• Level 3 Spectator Safety Certificate or currently working towards your Level 3 (Registration ready)
• ACT Awareness and ACT Security Certificates in date.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role.
• Excellent communication, leadership and decision-making skills.
• The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• A proactive approach to incident management and problem-solving.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when required.
• A professional attitude, strong situational awareness and a commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work football matchdays, including evenings and weekends where required.
