Responsible Officer

About the role

The Responsible Officer role involves sourcing, screening, and evaluating financial products including hedge funds, private equity, fund mergers and acquisitions, and structured products. You will produce detailed due diligence reports, monitor product performance, conduct risk-return analysis and benchmark comparisons, and provide data support to the investment team.

Key responsibilities

• Source, screen, and evaluate financial products (hedge funds, private equity, fund mergers and acquisitions, structured, etc.), producing detailed due diligence reports
• Monitor product performance, conduct risk-return analysis and benchmark comparisons, and provide data support to the investment team
• Provide recommendations for product development
• Conduct regular product training sessions to support the knowledge enhancement of investment consultants and relationship managers
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the senior management

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in financial engineering, statistics, economics or a related field
• Professional qualifications such as the SFC Type 1 RO licence
• At least 5 years of experience in financial product research, with a deep understanding of the structure, pricing, and risk characteristics of global financial products (eg, privates funds, Fund Mergers and Acquisitions, structured products)
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Fluent language skills, including spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
