About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant & Bar Manager to join the Flow Haus Project team in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position where you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional service delivery and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our brand standards, managing staff performance, and driving profitability whilst upholding the values and vision that define Flow Haus Project.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing all aspects of restaurant and bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and facility maintenance
• Managing, training, and supervising restaurant and bar staff to ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently met
• Creating and implementing schedules, managing payroll, and conducting performance reviews for team members
• Maintaining health and safety compliance, including food safety regulations and responsible beverage service practices
• Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs whilst maintaining quality standards
• Monitoring financial performance, analysing sales data, and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Ensuring all menu offerings and beverage selections align with company standards and seasonal availability
• Handling customer complaints and concerns with professionalism, resolving issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction
• Liaising with the kitchen and bar teams to coordinate service during peak periods and special events
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the restaurant and bar areas
• Promoting special events, themed nights, and new menu items to boost customer engagement and sales

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant and/or bar management role, preferably in a hospitality setting with multiple revenue streams
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent customer service orientation with proven ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu planning, and wine or cocktail pairing
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to manage budgets and understand financial performance
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is beneficial
• Knowledge of local health, safety, and food hygiene regulations in Bali
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Certification in hospitality management, food safety, or responsible service of alcohol is advantageous
• Experience in a resort, beachfront, or premium dining establishment is preferred
