About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join Grand Dragon Nightclub in Batam, Riau Islands. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining and beverage experiences to our guests. As Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will oversee all aspects of beverage operations, ensuring outstanding service standards, create event, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role is strategically important to our hospitality business, as you will be responsible for maintaining our reputation for excellence whilst driving revenue growth and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, including opening, closing and service procedures

• Manage staffing schedules, recruitment, training and performance management for front-of-house and bar team members

• Maintain consistent service quality and ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards

• Monitor food and beverage costs, manage inventory, and implement cost-control measures to maximise profitability

• Develop and implement menus, promotional campaigns and pricing strategies to enhance revenue

• Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty

• Manage cash handling, payments and reconciliation procedures

• Maintain records and reports on operational metrics, sales performance and staffing

• Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in restaurant and bar management within a hospitality environment
• Proven track record of successful staff management and team leadership
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including stock control and cost management
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
• Sound understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations in the hospitality industry
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian language is advantageous
• Hospitality or management qualification is preferred
