Restaurant & Bar Manager

Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead our dynamic hospitality team. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and managing staff effectively. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise restaurant and bar staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure top-tier service delivery.
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet established standards for both casual dining and fine dining experiences.
• Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
• Utilize POS systems such as Toast for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular staff training on food handling and safety procedures.
• Coordinate shift management by assigning tasks efficiently, monitoring service flow, and resolving customer concerns promptly.
• Conduct profit and loss analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction while maintaining high service standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management as well as casual dining or fine dining environments.
• Strong culinary knowledge including food preparation techniques, cooking skills, and kitchen management.
• Excellent team management abilities with experience in supervising hospitality teams, training staff, and conducting interviews.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; solid cash handling skills.
• Deep understanding of food safety management practices along with food production, catering, banquet operations, and food handling procedures.
• Exceptional managerial communication skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate teams toward shared goals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for budgeting, inventory control, and financial reporting.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
