Restaurant Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, responsible and hardworking Restaurant Assistant to join our team.

The main focus of this role is to ensure that the restaurant is clean, hygienic, organised and ready for service at all times. You will work closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams and help with daily cleaning and operational tasks.

Main responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the restaurant throughout the day.
• Clean floors, tables, chairs, windows and other restaurant areas.
• Keep the dining area, entrance and service areas clean and presentable.
• Clean and maintain toilets and guest areas.
• Clean kitchen floors, surfaces and other designated areas.
• Wash dishes, glasses, cutlery and kitchen equipment when required.
• Empty rubbish bins and manage waste and recycling according to restaurant routines.
• Carry out daily opening and closing cleaning duties.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are kept clean, organised and available.
• Follow the restaurant's cleaning, hygiene and food-safety routines.
• Support the restaurant team with other reasonable operational tasks when needed.
• Report any cleaning, maintenance or safety issues to the manager.

Previous experience in restaurant cleaning, hospitality or a similar role is an advantage but is not required. Training and introduction to the restaurant's routines will be provided.
