Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.

• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with bussing tables, ensuring a tidy environment for guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and efficient service during peak hours.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures.

Skills

• Strong food preparation skills with an understanding of culinary techniques.
• Experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Proven sales abilities with experience in upselling menu items.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant settings is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations can be beneficial.
