Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings that enhance their dining experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash transactions securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting for guests.
• Monitor inventory levels of spirits, wines, beers, mixers, and garnishes; restock supplies as needed to ensure seamless service.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Process cash handling accurately while managing tabs and closing out checks at shift end.

• Deliver exceptional, engaging hospitality to every guest while creating a welcoming and energetic bar experience.
• Prepare cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages accurately, consistently, and according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Develop strong knowledge of the cocktail, spirits, wine, beer, and food menus to confidently guide guests and make thoughtful recommendations.
• Provide efficient service during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Use suggestive selling and strong product knowledge to enhance the guest experience and maximize food and beverage sales.
• Anticipate guest needs, maintain awareness of the entire bar, and ensure guests are acknowledged and cared for throughout their experience.
• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and brewing processes.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty.
• Experience in fine dining settings or upscale hospitality environments preferred.
• Ability to develop innovative beverage recipes that appeal to diverse tastes.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales, tips, and cash handling.
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles including bartending or banquet service is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of beverage trends such as craft brewing or spirits enhances your ability to serve guests expertly.
