Restaurant Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation.
• Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure financial integrity.
• Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks Online and Toast POS to record transactions and generate reports.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and assist in budgeting processes to support operational planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting within a restaurant or hospitality setting is required.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks and Toast.
• Familiarity with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial report writing.
