Restaurant Captain

• Supervise daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Welcome guests and ensure a pleasant dining experience through professional and courteous service.
• Allocate duties and sections to service associates and monitor their performance.
• Ensure proper table setup, mise-en-place, grooming, and readiness of the restaurant before each shift.
• Take guest orders accurately and ensure timely service of food and beverages.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure food quality, presentation, portion consistency, and timely order delivery.
• Coordinate with bartenders and bar staff to ensure efficient beverage preparation and service.
• Maintain good knowledge of food menus, beverage menus, daily specials, and promotions.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and escalate unresolved issues to the Restaurant Manager.
• Drive suggestive selling and upselling of food and beverages to improve average bill value and revenue.
• Ensure all orders are entered accurately into the POS system and monitor billing accuracy.
• Verify discounts, complimentary items, voids, and cancellations as per company authorization procedures.
• Monitor food and beverage wastage, breakages, stock availability, and operating supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards are maintained throughout the restaurant and bar.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and train team members on service standards, menu knowledge, grooming, and guest handling.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline, and adherence to operational procedures.
• Manage restaurant opening and closing activities and ensure proper shift handovers.
• Coordinate reservations, special requests, group bookings, and promotional activities.
• Prepare and communicate shift reports covering sales, guest complaints, operational issues, and wastage.

• Must be willing to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays as per the duty roster.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Should maintain professional grooming and service etiquette at all times.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
