Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements using reservation systems like OpenTable.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure swift processing of sales transactions.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail, wine, spirits, and beverage service, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and assisting in food preparation when needed.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, offering recommendations, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and sales processing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service to enhance guest experiences through upselling.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $23.65 - $35.00 per hour
