Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions and cash handling smoothly.
• Manage food service customer orders, including taking, entering, and confirming orders accurately.
• Upsell menu items by recommending popular or promotional products to enhance sales.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards and food safety management practices.
• Process cash transactions, handle credit card payments, and balance cash register at shift end.
• Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic food handling and operating kitchen equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or food service customer order management is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus.

Pay: $7.25 - $8.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
