Restaurant Cashier

Job Summary
Wendy's is looking for a friendly and dependable Restaurant Cashier to serve guests, process orders and payments, and help maintain an efficient and welcoming front-of-house environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide courteous service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Operate the restaurant POS and cash register.
• Process cash, card, and other approved payments.
• Confirm orders and help ensure order accuracy.
• Answer basic questions about menu items and promotions.
• Keep the counter and front-of-house area clean.
• Restock cups, bags, napkins, and other supplies.
• Communicate with kitchen and service team members.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with additional restaurant tasks during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier or restaurant experience is helpful but not required.
• Friendly attitude and strong customer-service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning POS and restaurant procedures.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform basic physical tasks.
• Flexible availability for different shifts, including weekends.

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.0 per week
