Restaurant Cook – Prep & Line

Vinton Café – Kitchen & Bakery is looking for a dependable, hardworking cook to join our kitchen team! We’re a busy, family-owned hometown café serving breakfast all day, lunch, and dinner Wednesday through Friday. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working both prep and the line and can keep up during busy service while maintaining quality and consistency. Responsibilities include: - Preparing ingredients and completing daily prep - Cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items - Working grill, flat top, sauté, and other kitchen stations - Following recipes, portions, and presentation standards - Keeping your station clean, stocked, and organized - Helping with dishes, cleaning, stocking, and other kitchen tasks as needed - Following food safety and sanitation standards - Working as a team during busy service What we're looking for: Restaurant experience is preferred, but reliability, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are just as important. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen, able to take direction, and willing to jump in wherever you're needed. Availability: Morning, daytime, evening and weekend availability is needed. Our kitchen operates as early as 6:30 AM, with dinner service Wednesday–Friday. Pay: $14–$17/hour depending on experience and ability. We’re a small team, so every person matters. We’re looking for someone who shows up when scheduled, works well with others, takes pride in the food they put out, and wants to be part of a growing local restaurant.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
