Duties

• Take customer orders accurately using a POS system, ensuring quick and friendly service
• Prepare food items following safety standards and quality guidelines, including handling kitchen equipment and food safety management practices
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations and retail sales transactions
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety protocols
• Assist in food handling tasks such as assembling orders, packaging, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support fast service delivery during peak hours

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments with a strong understanding of food safety standards
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations with precision
• Experience in food handling, sanitation, and operating kitchen or café equipment is highly desirable
• Retail sales experience or grocery store background is a plus for understanding product presentation and upselling techniques

Pay: $15.00 per hour
