Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to ensure a positive dining experience
• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food prep tasks
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to sanitation protocols in the kitchen and dining areas
• Assist with food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick turnaround times
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and excellent customer service at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast-food restaurants is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions and retail math scenarios
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience in cashiering, upselling, and sales techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic kitchen experience or culinary background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours effectively
• Ability to work well within a team environment, supporting colleagues across various restaurant functions including serving, bussing, and food prep
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
