Join our team as a Restaurant Crew Member at Jalapeno's Taco Spot . For back of the house position , we are looking for someone with young energy to join our team. The candidate must have at least 1 year of back of the house experience with grilling steak & chicken similar to a steakhouse or taco shop . You ,must have experience grilling over open flame & experience with prepping food fast , efficient & safe . The pay starts at $ 20 an hour with tips for full time employees GUARANTEED or we will pay you the difference . We are looking for few friendly crew members to join our team ASAP. This job will be perfect for someone looking for a full time job with 32 - 38 hours a week . We are looking for someone who is available between Sun - Wed . . 3 pm - 2:30 am and Thur - Sat . . 3 pm - 4:30 am . Must have open availability any day & willing to work 4 - 5 days a week . The average shift will be 7 -9 hours a day . The candidate will be cross trained to helping customers at the front of the house during rush hours as well . We prefer someone who is at least 18 years old due to late hours .

The Position for Front of the house , we are looking for a candidate that has least 1 year of Front of the house experience in a Mexican restaurant concept similar to Chipotle , Cafe Rio or other Mom & Pop mexican restaurants and is able to wrap burritos , making quesadillas & tacos , etc. . You must also have experience with prepping food fast , efficient & safe . The pay is $ 18 an hour with tips for part time employees GUARANTEED or we will pay you the difference . We are looking for few friendly crew members to join our team ASAP. This job will be perfect for someone looking for a part time job with 21 - 28 hours a week . We are looking for someone who is available between Sun - Wed . . 3 pm - 2:30 am & Thur - Sat . . 3 pm - 4:30 am . Must have open availability any day & willing to work 3 - 4 days a week . The average shift will be 7 - 8 hours a day . The candidate will be cross trained from helping customers at the front counter & help with back of the kitchen as well . We prefer someone who is at least 18 years old due to late hours . Please apply in person .

Skills Needed

• Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety and quality standards, including handling ingredients and following recipes.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process orders accurately and swiftly.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage cash handling duties with accuracy during cashiering transactions, including cash, credit card payments, and receipts.
• Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting food prep when needed.
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred & required .
