Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
• Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and handling special requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sanitizing surfaces, storing ingredients properly, and adhering to sanitation standards.
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with accuracy.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following food safety management protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in training new team members on food preparation techniques, POS systems, and safety practices as needed.
• Daytime availability required

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow their skills.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods effectively.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but can be learned on the job.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes guests feel valued and appreciated

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
