Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare food items efficiently following safety and quality standards, operating kitchen equipment with precision.
• Manage customer transactions at the cash register, processing cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions smoothly.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales by recommending popular or new products.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols throughout your shift.
• Assist in food handling duties, ensuring all products meet health regulations and quality expectations.
• Support team members in operating kitchen equipment and managing food service customer orders to ensure timely delivery.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with high-volume environments.
• Proven skills in food preparation, cashiering, and food safety management are essential for success in this role.
• Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS will help you hit the ground running.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Background in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and cash handling will be advantageous.
• Prior experience working with kitchen equipment or in a café setting is a plus, showcasing your ability to operate culinary tools safely.
• Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash register operations and transaction processing.
