Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Manage customer transactions accurately by processing cash, credit card payments, and retail sales transactions.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Food handling and safety management experience are desirable to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Background in retail sales transactions or grocery store experience can be beneficial for understanding cash register operations and cashier responsibilities.
• Prior kitchen or café experience helps in operating kitchen equipment and supporting food preparation tasks.
• Strong customer service skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 40.0 per week
