Job Summary
St. Joseph the Worker is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Restaurant Crew Member to support daily food-service operations and provide a welcoming experience for guests. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, customer service, order fulfillment, cleaning, and general restaurant duties while maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide courteous, professional service.
• Assist with taking and preparing customer orders accurately.
• Support basic food preparation, portioning, and packaging.
• Assemble and serve food and beverage items according to established standards.
• Communicate customer requests and special instructions to kitchen staff.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, dining, and service areas.
• Restock ingredients, utensils, packaging, beverages, and other supplies.
• Assist with washing and sanitizing dishes, equipment, and work surfaces.
• Monitor food preparation areas and maintain proper cleanliness throughout shifts.
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine restaurant cleanup duties.
• Handle routine customer questions and service requests professionally.
• Work with team members to maintain efficient service during busy periods.
• Report supply shortages, equipment concerns, or customer issues to management.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food-service, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and sanitation practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
