Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, providing friendly service and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following sanitation guidelines and food safety protocols throughout your shift.
• Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and managing retail sales transactions with precision.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their experience is positive from start to finish.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards in a restaurant or café environment is highly valued.
• Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS will be advantageous but can be learned on the job.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude that energizes team interactions and enhances guest experiences.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices ensures compliance with health regulations and promotes a safe dining environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
