Job Overview

Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, payment processing, and cashiering duties.
• Serve customers efficiently, taking orders with accuracy and providing friendly customer service.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing workstations in compliance with sanitation standards.
• Assist in food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety regulations are met.
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
• Engage in food service activities within a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting, demonstrating efficiency and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, café, retail math, grocery store, or related food industry roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Understanding of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
