Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and manage food service customer order flow smoothly.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by performing regular bussing, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety practices, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Experience with operating kitchen equipment and food handling procedures is desirable.
