Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage food service customer orders from taking to delivery, ensuring timely service and satisfaction.
• Upsell menu items by recommending popular or new products to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety standards, including proper food handling and kitchen cleanliness.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, ovens, and other culinary tools.
• Process cash transactions accurately at the register, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions with precision.
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food storage areas for freshness.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; familiarity with food preparation and customer service is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS effectively.
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and kitchen equipment operation is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Background in retail sales transactions or grocery store experience can be beneficial in managing cash register operations.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a positive attitude.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately; familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
