Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, processing payments, and delivering food promptly.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards throughout your shift.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, supporting food preparation and cooking processes.
• Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and manage cash handling with accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Support food safety management practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
• Experience in food preparation, food handling, or the food industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Prior retail or grocery store experience is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential!

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
