Restaurant Floor Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, and hosts to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage restaurant operations using POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Monitor daily restaurant performance, including serving efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cleanliness standards.
• Enforce food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health codes across all kitchen and dining areas.
• Provide leadership in training staff on food industry best practices, hospitality standards, and team management techniques.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles with supervising responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
• Skilled in using POS systems like Micros or similar for transactions and cash handling.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment.
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant personnel to ensure high performance.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations including food handling, bartending, barista skills, and general restaurant experience is highly desirable.
